My
                                               grandma
                                              memories
                                        they are countless
there was a warm room in her heart for all
kitchen is the first room I envision
                                        with my eyes closed
                                           hers soft hands
                                            through smell
                                                  love

Lovely! My two grandmas were also great in the kitchen. Two different kinds of meals but I loved being in both places.

This picture is typical of grandma's as we know them, not a grandma as we have become, modern and still as loving (and that is from someone who is not a Grandma yet, but who hopes with all her heart she will still become one!) Love this poem, a fave, best of luck in the contest. Hugs and blessings and love dear soul sister, Jennifer.

Reads like a good contender. Way to go. I Enjoyed reading this one. Thanks for stopping by. It is good that you have/had a grandma to remember. I only saw my mother in the role as grandmother as she nurtured her grandchildren. Sara
