Grandma Janet Takes a Chance

The thought of life on another planet
Held no appeal for Grandma Janet
  But the COVID lockdown
  Made Grandma fret and frown
Masks banned there? ~ I think I can stand it

I am ready to travel to another universe. If she gets a ticket. Tell her I want the adjoining seat as long as we are 30 feet apart.

If only we could fly to a planet, Taking with us the dear Grandma Janet. With no masks to wear, Peace we would find there, That is if the government would have it.

What we’re all feeling! Just like Grandma’s fruitcake, we want to say “no masks allowed.” God bless you, sweet Gerahon!
