Grand Pa

>>>>>>>>>>>>>Grandpa came over just the other day,
To see if our fishing trip was still on for this coming Saturday.
I said it sure is, for there is no doubt,
My fishing with grandpa is what life is all about.

We would take a little lunch,
Fish for most of the day.
                             A good time was assured,
                             Any time, any way.

                             The big ones we caught,
Or the ones that got away.
Will be a tall tale to tell,
To my grand kids one day.

Grandpa looked over and said with a smile,
This is better then floating down the river Nile.
I said thank you grandpa , for taking me fishing today,
He said no need to thank me boy, I would have it no other way.

What a sweet moment in time you captured with your words, just precious. I know you will cherish these memories with your Grandpa and you wrote it beautifully. I'm sure this makes him smile to know how much you appreciate the time you two spend together. Really touching write. :) Love, Amy
