Grand Day

Grand day 
God's ray.

   Calm dawn
   fresh lawn.

      Blest morn
      bliss born.

         Sun bath
         work path.

            Zest roars
            faith soars.

               Great noon
               hopes croon.

                  Toil best
                  strength crest.

                     Dusk gleam
                     thanks beam.

                        Grace gains
                        praise reigns.

                           Sweet peace 
                           woes cease.

                              Love-filled 
                              pray'r-shield.

                                 Good night 
                                 rest might.

                                    Sufficed
                                    in Christ.*

*2 Corinthians 3:5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God.
