Finally, the moment has come
To reflect on the hard work you’ve done
You’ve accomplished so much
In such a short time
Given your all – your skill and your talent
All of your heart
Even though it was a challenge
You grew and you learned
You felt knowledge being absorbed
Into your mind, where you’re so kind
And I know, without a doubt
You deserve the education you have
Discovering your hopes
Acquiring your goals
Exploring and cramming
Until you were filled with wisdom
Brought about by studying and reflecting
Finally, the time has come
To wish you well in your future plans
Where you take all that you’ve learned
And apply it to your hopes
The dreams that give back to you
A happy heart, a pleasant thought
Feelings that abide within your soul
Letting you know
You have what it takes to reach for your dreams
To accomplish pretty much anything
With the assurance that God has taught you
The best news being that He is always with you
Abiding within you, where you haven’t a doubt
He will lift you, accept you, comfort you
Whatever might come and wherever you may run
He will guide you through this life
And show you the best way
To use your education
And pursue other instruction
Should the opportunity come to you
You have everything you need to begin
A life that is built on hope, faith and love
All the instructions sent down from above
God bless you, dear Graduate
May all your dreams come true
Throughout this life
And on through eternity!
