Graciousness reaches out to smooth, to embrace, ruffled emotions
Looks beyond affronts – lifting mercy up on reconciling arms
True thoughtful courtesy caresses inflamed scars like a soothing lotion,

Graciousness reaches out to smooth, to embrace, ruffled emotions
Listens with a chivalrous heart – welcomes kindness compassion born 
Sidesteps anger’s open pitfalls - sees past the commotion.
