Graceful Loyalty
You sounded so lovely
When you were a million miles away from me
You are the thorns on my side
My humility scratched away your pride
It’s a love-hate relationship frankly…honestly…
I still hold on to graceful loyalty
Because you make me feel this royalty
When deep down inside,
I feel like a disaster and something in me has died
I want you back in my arms…
I would never do you harm…
I wonder if you’d ever feel me next to you
When you are alone in your room of doom…I haven’t a clue…
What I’m doing here, thinking of you with tears in my eyes
I feel this sudden, familiar fear…reduced to mere lies…
