When she’s sure her tired hubby’s asleep,
Susie sneaks from the bedroom to keep
a much-loved rendezvous.
Rocky Road she will woo.
Her addiction to ice cream runs deep.

Hi Janice - how long is it since we have communicated, at least 6 months - I have missed seeing your name on my page so looked up some of your poems, this one is fun. lol Reminds me of my hubby. He used to wait until I was asleep and then go into the kitchen and snack on everything he was not supposed to have. A type II diabetic his blood sugar was off the chart and I couldn't understand why. I tried so hard to keep him in line. He now lives in a care facility where they watch him not just because of that but he has other issues too. If he had stayed home with me he would be dead by now . A good one Janice. Congrats.
