Gossip

Strap on in and let’s begin
It’s the nature of the game
It’s not a story or a tale
But important just the same
It makes a sound in every town
As it echoes through your streets
It’s on the lips of all your friends
And everyone you meet
Its cuts you down with every sound
It wants to ruin your day
It only wants to tare you up
The gossips come to stay
So spread the word “That’s what I heard”
And don’t forget your part
So you can take another stab
And aim right for their heart

You bit the bullet in this poem with the topic of gossip. Gossip does spread, much like a cancer in the body - a weird simile, I know...but I'm trying to put my point across. Ah, what an epic verse from you again.
