Goosebumps

Mum,
I saw old mrs May,
She was walking the other way,
I stopped just to say hey,
She looked at me but had nothing to say,
She looked kinda grey,
That’s strange son because she died the other day.

I love this! So subtle and yet, in some families so familiar and reeks of truth!
