Goodnight Forever
GOODNIGHT FOREVER
The bright sun has turned rusty
On its way to permanent oblivion
The sun has fallen never to rise again
It is a night without hope of daybreak
The light is off at the end of the tunnel
Left with silent nights of ghost whispers
The dust will be laid in the mother earth
And the ashes will settle like morning dew
The land of the living has lost a gem
Now a guest in the realm of the spirits
The hustle is ended
And the race ended before the finish line
We will cheer at the gallery
With tears and applause
Speechless and sleepless we would be for long
Every beautiful moment and sad hour
None was enough to bid you sudden farewell
But here we are with teary eyes and drenched hearts
Bidding you forever goodnight
Sleep on our beloved
Rest in peace forever. ??
