Goodbye Number Four

Saw family of four today only three babies were with mama duck, so something unknown befell number four. Living in the wild you never know how long you will be around, as I watch them swim away, my desire, is they didn't suffer very much, here at Lowell Ponds, anything could have happened, that is part of wild life.
