Goodbye Mister Chip

The team's fans had lofty expectations. They were squelched by your miscalculations. The trades you made provided no improvement. The team's performance was a bitter disappointment. Your boys lost some games to mediocre teams. That caused inability to fulfill some dreams. A smooth road to travel proved to be rough. The team's owner said he had seen enough. You were let go before the end of the season. Missing the playoffs was the ultimate reason. Your tenure in Philadelphia is now through. Wherever you go, may there be better luck for you.

Hopes were so high. Brining Oregon's high powered offense to the NFL had so much promise. It led to too many injuries. Maybe with the right personnel it could have worked. Nice rhyme Robert.
