GOODBYE JOHN ^WW^ Now that our best friend has flown with his warrior Wings far and high, we are certain a celestial courier, Will send our thoughts prayers and poems, Directly to him so that he’ll always know, That he’s missed, RIP Dear John, sure you’re in euphoria!

Hi Pete, He was a True friend to all and was liked and loved by all. It was a sudden shock. He had disappeared off poetry soup suddenly and then about 2 months later John Hamilton in his Blog, told us of his passing - he was about 60 years of age. was shocked to hear of his passing... beautiful tribute poem to him, he was always a kind soul... so many we have lost and we feel the pain when a poet's ink runs dry... hugs

It was horrible to find out, I missed him and many I asked but no one knew anything, and then I read John Hamilton's blog where he told us all. Although I had little interaction with him, it's clear that he was popular among Soupers. It's like losing a family member when a dear friend dies. I'm sorry for your loss and congratulate you on writing such a beautiful tribute to John. Hugs, Carolyn

I know Jan, I was devastated on reading John's blog but I understand that he was ill for some time. I noticed his poems getting fewer and fewer until they, stopped I asked so many people if they knew anything and then I read John Hamilton's Blog, really tragic that we have lost him. I wrote a couple of super hero poems and he said I could call him Wingster in them - he loved that he was a super hero, and I always told him he was my super poetry hero! We will all miss him. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

He certainly will Vijay, I have the poem I wrote(the super hero poem) I asked his permission if I could use him and his name but called him Wingster, so from then on he said Jennster comics have taken over Marvel comics. He will be missed by all. Hugs and blessings Jennifer.
