Goodbye, Common Sense
They examined all the science that they possibly could
and gathered the smartest people the world had to offer.
They checked the calculus and geometrics of every single angle.
They reached deep into history and projected far into the future.
They left no doubt that everything was socially and politically correct.
Their educational due-diligence and pedagogy were absolutely spotless.
Utilizing the best grammar, there were no loopholes in any of their documents.
A new age had come, old techniques were extinct, and a treasure was vanishing.
The world of www had arrived, Mr. Dot Com was in charge, and AI was at the door. I felt intensely sadden when I saw their reckless regard for common sense. And I fainted when I discovered that their common sense had taken flight and
was rapidly disappearing like a San Francisco fog on a very sunny day.
