Goodbye

Warm tears flowing down my cheeks, Feeling empty, and sick to the stomach, There you lay sleeping peacefully, Though I'm restless, and you know nothing of it, Won't this be the last night I cry I've got no more tears left to shed I gave it my all, you failed to try Wanted love, but you hurt me instead Reminiscing on the good times, Memories between you and me, What was loved was lost, and me, did cost, My spiritual sanctity, Won't this be the last night I cry I've got no more tears left to shed I gave it my all, you failed to try Wanted love, but you hurt me instead Heart racing with anticipation Spirit crippled, and melancholy In the morning you wake, and I couldn't wait, To say no longer will you burden me
