Good Night My Dear

Good night my dear. I’ll stay by your side.
The doctors say there’s nothing more to do
I’ll comfort you on this coaster ride.

Two lives together as time bids us bide
these precious moments together so few.
Good night my dear. I’ll stay by your side.

So much wasted time your eyes belied
though past memories in mine, accrue.
I’ll comfort you on this coaster ride.

Our life bumpy but strong, I confide,
our love has remained unfailingly true.
Good night my dear. I’ll stay by your side.

We still have time to love and laugh I lied.
Your life over while mine follows through.
I’ll comfort you on this coaster ride.

As the time grew nearer I cried.
The time had come to bid you adieu.
Good night my dear. I’ll stay by your side.
I’ll comfort you on this coaster ride.
