About head high, two bluebirds built a nest Outside my window, in a young oak tree They built their house complete with nursery Last spring she chirped a lover's sweet request It wasn't long before their home was blessed Three little ones that chirped incessantly They raised them to live independently Last week they left no forwarding address But I have hope they will return in spring Rebuild even remodel, either way Each day they said hello and were so kind How beautiful it was to hear them sing Perhaps, next year I'll ask if they can stay Because good neighbors are so hard to find November 20 2016 Italian Sonnet

Hi Daniel. I read a rather depressing poem today, so turned to one of yours as I knew I would be blessed, and I was reading your lovely sonnet. Thanks, Vivien (Scarlett)

Your poems are all genius!! I'm picking around in them randomly, preferring the lighter ones, for now. (My head is heavy from the current trauma in my life)

Thank you, but you cannot help. I'm basically at war with psychiatry which is destroying my son. After he is rescued, I will seek to spread the word and shut them all down. Their innocent victims are doped and duped into believing they're being "helped."

Thank you for that very flattering compliment, Hannah. I hope you will be OK. Anything I can do to help? I absolutely love when people read my older poems:)

Daniel, you wrote a piece that I see the little birds build right on my porches.. but those poor babies fall to far down and don't survive. Very good write and congratulations on your win. Thank you so very much for participating in my Sonnet contest Hugs Eve

Beautiful themed Italian sonnet, Daniel. A gorgeous poem really. I'm a bird lover, have been all my life. It's starting to get cold here in Michigan and the birds really flock when you feed them daily in the winter. I never saw bluebird before. Guess they're not northern clime birds, or they leave before winter comes. Excellent poem though. Love and blessings to you.

Thank you Freddie. I'm not sure how far north the go to be honest. They show up here every spring, lovebirds. They are devoted to say the least. I always enjoy your pleasant visits. Be well:)

ahhh yes, here it is. The sweet bird poem! I think bluebirds would be so lovely to have nearby. OUr barn swallows took me forever to figure out what they were!! But they had a kind of neon red underbelly and forked tails.

Daniel . This is such a nice poem. I love when the birds nest here too. It is also sad about good neighbors being hard to find. I hope the beautiful birds return. Take care.
