Good Morning Jesus
As the early morning dawn rises,
the snow glistens from the sun who with the Saviors blessings, shine upon the cold winter ground..
No worries I have as deep within the ground is spring waiting patiently to be re-birthed, green grass takes upon a brown appearance, not as dead yet like thus Lenten season, a time of being conscience of our own sins, a time of repentance to our savior Jesus.
As I set out for a cool morning walk, I wrap my coat around my neck, yet the winter chill no disgruntled I have, for Our Saviors Love giveth me warmth unlike no other.
I lift my face to feel the suns shineth upon me, the barren trees with their branches rise above, they too are in a time of renewal.
Lent is a time not to be thought of as giveth something up, yet a sacrifice to our Saviors love for us, as He walketh the desert being temped by evil Satan, no doubt, unwavering faith He felt, yet a strength unlike no other;
May we also carry that love, faith, strength deep within our hearts, nothing can shake Our Love, strength, desires like the Heavenly Father love for His Only Son..
Winter’s cold winds blow gently through my hair, reminding me to take a deep breath in, hold it as to remind me soon that Our Beloved Savior Jesus Christ will willingly sacrifice Himself upon the Cross…. Me, You, and everyone who believeth in HIM, He take upon Himself a death He freely accepted.. a LOVE unlike no Other..
That is a LOVE I cannot fathom, as a MOM of two my heart weeps thinking, knowing Our Heavenly Father sent HIS only SON to Die for OURS and YOURS sins, as I slowly exhale, a lone eagle soaring high above the sun scaped sky, wings extended wide just as our Saviors Arms are wide open to greet us to envelop us into HIS arms of unconditional, mercy, grace.
Tears falling freely upon my face, my throat is in my chest, Jesus we love you more than anything, yet you know already know our transgressions, our worries, as I continue on with my morning walk my heart is full, my steps are light, thank you Jesus for coming into my life 55 yesrs ago, for bringing Den into my life at a time when I felt so alone, yet you were there, and making me a Mom, please give my MOM a hug from me.
I say these things in Jesus Name, AMEN.
