Gone For Too Long
Distancing away, out of body experience
Mirrors reflection but with connection
Feelings, emotions seen from a side
But all is still present, still inside
Overpowering sense of loss
Of something familiar but too strange
Present, future, past all in one tense
All but the peace, all but the calm
All is around but the most important
Most important is missing,
Gone,
Gone for too long to be desired
To actually remember how it feels
But something still craves,
Something still familiar
But too old and gone for too long
