Gone

When love is over it turns to rust
Nothing can bring back the love when you lose your trust
The rose coloured glasses become clear and bright
You see what has been in plain sight
Everything is all about you
No matter what I say or do
What you wanted I wanted to give
That is really a terrible way to live
I need to have my desires and needs met
Which have to date not happened yet
We need to share our hopes and dreams
To make it as real as it some times seems
But things are wrong , there is no hope
So time to say goodbye and let go of the tight rope

Ah...dear Edith. This is truth that sometimes people don't want to see. You have captured the essence well. Truth can be painful and so some choose to keep looking through that lense. Hugs, dear one.

Not only does it turn to rust, it seems to decay rather quickly also. Really enjoyed the read. Peace my friend:)
