Golden Years

Tear drops fall drowning the hurt inside my soul
not the same as yesterday every day is a new day
its a new kind of pain trying to gain some since of it all
look for answers straight from above like a dove i fly freely
nearly touching the ground gliding threw the clear blue sky
close my eyes and enjoy the ride that takes me far just for a moment
the wind kisses me the sun warms my heart the breeze relax and comforts me
my tears are far from few some in between happy and blue
were is my resolution cause i have come to the conclusion
that there is no me without you being my guiding light my reason to fight
threw my drakes times in bend knee i say to thee come rescue me i have fallen
lift me on higher ground show me how to listen to your voice that will bring comfort
touch me with the electricity that will run threw my body giving me peace and understanding
my tears are far from few but still i thank you for what dose not kill me makes me that
much stronger to strive to rise above it all and not rush for a lesson tough is a lesson well
learned with each tear comes wiser golden years
