Golden Wings
I don’t need golden wings to fly
O rope I can’t see but you tie
so hard, I have lost the vigor to cry.
Don’t drag me in this world of lie.
Amid the oceans , Above the land
Over the snow and over the sand.
Give me the wings to fly,
I want to touch the sky.
Day after day , A hopeful ray
Came my way, I woke today.
A girl in gold ,younger yet old !
Peeping through the glass window
The sight of a bird flying high
catches the iris of her eye.
Bird is having fun scailing the sun
Riding on his wings in the boundless sky
He is brave enough unlike me not shy.
The tides of the ocean dance
on the beats of his song
clouds bidding adios
as he sails along.
Day after day , A hopeful ray
Came my way, I realized today.
Trees are calling him
With bustling leaves.
Wherever he needs
A nest he weaves.
He didn’t have the golden wings
Neither had he wore round rings.
Nor his feathers studded with lie .
That’s why Drizzle that’s why
He is flying too high.
Day after day , A hopeful ray
Came my way, I grasped today
