Golden Rods of Light
Long slender fingers
golden rods of light
Reach for flowering
foliage thirsting in
His sight
Nature
provides the nurture
A constant supply of
balance upon dawns
newly designed future
Her fingers
playfully hop across
crested aqua waves
Toward apricot sands
that reside along our
shores unscathed
Trumpet vines
cling to a stony ledge
Gracing the walls of
a sandy path that leads
to the water's edge
