Golden One, Sweet Connie

Sweet golden one, shine like the sun On the glorious shore of Life Sweet were your flowers, in earthen hours Yet sweeter still on heaven's hill In freedom, far from strife Sorrow left me silent as I paused to realize Your poet's pen is still now, the ink is fully dried Your words now seen, through misty eyes Though all the tears on earth you cried Washed 'way in heaven's tide Will you meet us Connie? When we too lay Down earth's pen? Called home to light and glory, Where we'll sing in joy again? You must have seen sweet Carolyn upon that Side of Life, are you two penning Praises? Midst angelic harps and fife? Oh golden one, sweet Connie, On heaven's shore abide And we will meet in person across the Golden Tide Where poet's ink is gold indeed And written on the clouds Where angelic muses utter praise And sing the poems out loud Upon the Glorious Golden Shore Your aching heart will break no more And love is pure and light Divine Where Golden one, we know you shine

What a wonderful tribute you have given to Connie, our dear departed friend. I simply love the sincerity of tone and the free flow of emotions."Upon the Glorious Golden Shore Your aching heart will break no more".... Quite true... ! She had to endure many aches, still faced life with courage. Again she will not have to shed any more tears ! Lovely penning dear BJ

Thank you so much my sweet friend, she endured so much pain on earth. We had spoken through soupmail and I had related to her that I prayed for her as she came to my heart, the sadness she endured was more than I felt a person could bare. She was so very brave, sweet and dear. She told me that it was the Lord that gave her the strength every day to carry on. Now she's with Him, and her beloved Michael and their son. Though I'm still sad she's gone, I know without a shadow of doubt she is free, and in the arms of her Savior whom she so trusted in. Thank you for your visit and kind words, I love having you drop over with your incredibly uplifting comments Valsa <3

Thank you, Vijay, she was such a precious lady. Have you seen the poetry site she set up quite a long time ago? She had such a sweet site where her poems were in special little files you can click on, poems for children, some written in the love she had for her family, etc So very sweet.
