Golden Hay
Strong these arms that hold you
when needed to be.
Safe your dreams deep in my soul
when doubting and you need to see.
Soft are the hands that guide you
in this life.
Round is the ring on my finger that
makes me your wife.
Peaceful are the feelings that draw
us near.
Security is the blanket we share and
that erases all fear.
Forever is the promise you gave to me
on that special day.
Contentment is the gift we have and hold
these days, as we enjoyably lay in the barn's
golden hay.
