GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE AND LOST LOVE

Golden Gate Bridge and Lost Love Didn't I kiss you right? Didn't I hold you enough? What went so very wrong, With our love, so warm and strong? I think about you, when I hear, The summer night breathing in my ear. Of our lost dinners over candlelight. Of our snuggling like, forever, At the sound of the Pacific, hitting rocks. Of love mysteriously, mistfully gone. The golden lights gleaming, Of two young lovers....once in love, At the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge!               July 8, 2020                6:30pm PST

Panagiota, It's a really special bridge, when the light hits it just right. -Richard

Richard, hello! That Bridge is like a twin to me, I lived a few blocks away and went jogging near it four times a week. It's never the same color or look. On foggy nights~ it's magnificent...it will no doubt pop up in my future poems. Most folks I know love it! Be happy and fearless. Panagiota

Chantelle, thank you. I wish I would have used more imagery! But many times I want people caught in the emotions. The times beneath that Bridge deserve more work on my part. But the sudden end to a magical relatioship.,,ouchie! Bunny hugs, Panagiota xxx thanks for an always being here for me.

Yes, lost. The memories, though remain. I am one to remember only good ones. Other ones are gone. I would do it all over again. It was magical. Panagiota xx
