Gold
The ring on my finger,
symbolizes eternal love,
in a circle...
from beginning to beginning...
without end.
The words that we spoke,
the time that was given,
it all mattered.
It was worth the effort,
it was more than was expected,
as nothing was left out...
Every detail made perfect
by those in attendance.
Promises.
We traded words and vows.
We traded hearts as well.
One for each to cherish and keep,
for the other.
Together now as one, we walk,
into every sunset,
every tomorrow,
and even...
ever day after.
