Going Somewhere
A spotlight on this night and not because it's a Sunday, it could be a Tuesday but then I'd have to say, a spotlight on that night and not this night which would bogger the poem up and then where would I be?
You see?
good.
but by now I've forgotten where this should be heading
and the magnetic compass is light sensitive.
and so no
premature illumination
please,
let the night fall
where it will.
