Notes About The Poem

God's Utopia

Grace lights my heart and colors my soul in hues of serenity, feelings pure and gentle, dreams that are alive with tenderness – quote by poet Flow soft through my veins Rays of light, soft and vibrant Whispering insight, pouring through me Inviting my heart’s gratitude – so thankful The colors of kindness and imagination Free my soul from hurt and harm Shower me with laughter and charm Linger on feelings so kind and gentle Pepper my thoughts in beautiful warmth Sing to me of goodness and hope Kiss my thoughts with forever promises Enchanting words and prayers, psalms Grown wise from the touch of passion Melting away every tainted word, haunted With mystery, intensity, feelings of scarlet Breathe silence, stillness, across my spirit Soothing my thoughts with compassion Lifting away all the dirt and debris Hostile, cruel and mean, darkness Falling away with the spark of faith Dewdrop images drench my naked skin Racing to listen to poetry from within Embraced by imaginations so inviting Peaceful insights so brilliant and lively Reminders that God’s voice births utopia ''U'' Contest, New Poems Only Poetry Contest Sponsored by: Constance La France November 10, 2021 Theme word: Utopia
