God's Silence

Silent stillness
No movement no sound
Nothing but brightness
Refreshing my soul and mind

God is my Savior banishing all fear and devilry

That daily cup of salvation and solace
Numbing me so I'm in a state of grace
surviving the ceaseless activity
of bustling loudness in this world that's restless

Sleeping in the clouds of Your Infinity
No longer lost in this planet of cruelty
Your Light marks the beginning
of new adventures on that journey to purity
There'll never be any turmoil or dreading

Waking to yellow sun as each day I worship God
