God's Promises
God did not promise us
an easy life in this world.
He did not say all
our troubles would vanish,
nor our pockets be filled with gold.
But He did promise us
that He would go with us,
all the way to Heaven’s gate.
His promises can be trusted-
They are sure- And He is never late.
