God's Promise

God must have smiled when there so high
He hung a rainbow in the sky
To reassure, assuage our fears.
We've been so blessed for all these years
With God's own sign that He still cares,
Is overseeing Earth's affairs.
So when you see the storm clouds brew,
Remember God's sweet oath to you.
He'll send his bow in sweet accord;
Assurance that He keeps his word.

A joyful poem, Joyce, and it started to thunder just as I opened it. May it's one of "God's own signs." Thank you for sharing your words of hope. Best wishes in John's contest. Love, Carolyn
