Gods Plan

Gods plan

Will not be replaced, erased, or ever go astray 
No matter the storm
I weather 
Know that all together
It will prevail 
Gods plan holds true 
Holding on to grace 
A prayer of mercy from my lips 
Utterings from a broken heart that has fallen asunder  
Too ashamed to see the truth
Yet 
Gods plan holds true
Regardless of the times, I have fumbled, stumbled 
And disgraced 
His purpose always remains 
Untouched unchanged 
As sure as the sun sets to rise upon another day 
Gods plan holds true 
No matter my imperfections 
All that I cannot do 
The darkness that I go down into 
A glimmer of hope will always shine through
In my heart of hearts 
I know what is real
And in due time all will be revealed
Gods plan holds true
