God's Mystery Revealed - Ephesians 1: 7-9
God has revealed His mystery
to His children living here below
redemption to us He's given
our sins been dealt a death blow
We have been redeemed from sin
through the blood of God's own son
on Calvary's cross, He paid our price
where the great transaction was done
Forgiveness to us been given
all our transgressions dealt with
such is His grace given so free
all of these riches no myth
God has lavished upon us
with such wisdom and insight
His glorious mercy and goodness
revealing this gospel so bright
The mystery of His will
revealed in His perfect purpose
which in Christ been set forth
who paid for our purchase
AUTHOR NOTES: 'In him, we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ'.
