“The presence of any humility in my life is purely and completely an evidence of God’s grace. From my perspective, I am not a humble man. I am a proud man pursuing humility by the grace of God.” – C. J. Mahaney
Blessings flow from the One
Who made the heart, the soul, the spirit,
Stirred the wonder in every thought,
The gentle breath of praises sent…
To God above, who saves each tear,
Offers mercy when we fear,
Remembers that we’re only human,
And, despite our doubts, reassures us.
Blessings stream down from above,
Soaked in warmth, peace and love,
Reminding us that He is always with us,
Sending grace and hope to defend us…
From the shadows of despair,
From the worries that dishearten our prayers,
From the darkness that is ever there,
Coloring our faith in shame and despair.
Blessings spring up from the rhythms
Of solace, kindness and everlasting light,
Fulfilling, inspiring, encouraging
Reminding us that our life is filled with wonders…
Miracles falling all around our spirits,
Descending, like angels who kiss away the hurt,
Gentling the trembling angst that cries,
These miracles of love – we cannot deny!
Blessings flow from the heart of heaven,
Preparing us for eternity with the gift
Love that abides throughout all time,
Love that is ours, because Jesus died…
But, in three days, came back to life,
To reveal a promise that love is alive,
Love will never die – love will always find
A way to shine its light, a way to offer souls…
Salvation from the darkest hell,
Salvation from defeat and doubt,
Salvation from the enemy’s plans,
Salvation – because God’s grace has won!
