God's Alarm Clock

Soft sun seeps through the musky scent
of strong pine trees, painting
the forest in a subtle hue of
golden greens, embroidered in
fresh morning dew.

Cool air tickles and meanders
through, rousing canopies from
their slumber.

Melodious chirps chime a eurhythmic
rhyme, piercing the silence of
the damp dark Earth.
