Godly Compassion at Work
Godly compassion ceaselessly prevails
fervently quenching hatred's wrathful heat
since the Almighty's mercy never fails
wafting serenely triumph-scent so sweet.
God's love assures His presence in life's race
with His offered relationship's great bliss
around warm fellowship of wondrous grace
midst spiritual greetings brethren can't miss.
The Lord's lovingkindness revives our soul
while to the Saviour we always draw nigh
along worshipful praise of service-goal
propelling victory via faith’s fly.
Reaching-out to others with caring heart
props us upon Christ’s love* of safe rampart.
*Ephesians 3:19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
