God Winked
The sun rose today;
His golden rays pierced my heart,
Filling me with peace.
The birds sang today;
Setting my feet dancing,
Igniting me with joy.
The wind blew today;
Sweeping away my cares,
Cleansing my soul.
The earth turned today;
Grounding my thoughts,
Strengthening my faith.
The Stars shined tonight;
Filling me with awe and wonder,
Preparing me for eternal sleep.
