God Let Your Will Be Done

Lord let your will be done I pray
Lord let your will be done
Every day.
Just like Jesus in the garden
I say
Lord please pardon, my presumptuousness
And let your will be done.

Yet still so many things
Seem to go wrong,
And I wonder, what did I do wrong
When, my Heart, like a broken record
Has sung this song,
Lord let your will be done.

Then I open my eyes
To see,
All that has become of me
Although so many things have gone wrong,
Maybe, Just maybe,
Your will was done.
For, sometimes, I fail to see,
What didn’t become of me.

Untold are the many tragedies
I did not meet,
For, in my chest,
I can still hear my Heart beat.

Lord I thank you for Life,
And for your will,
For whether I know it or not
I will continually say,
Lord let your will be done.

"...sometimes, I fail to see, What didn’t become of me. ...Untold are the many tragedies... I can still hear my Heart beat. ...Lord I thank you for Life, And for your will,..." You are praying, asking and thanking. Very nice. Keep the Faith, RP.
