God Is the Master Painter

Paint the world a picture, paint a mountain scene
Paint a little valley and paint a scenic stream
Paint snow on the higher peaks and paint a waterfall
God the Master Painter, paints it all

He paints on nature’s canvas, strokes from his own hand
Its part of the story regarding the Master’s plan
All the beauty of this world, his paintings are on display
Earthly signs and wonders in a vast array

His colors are all perfect as he paints a clear blue sky
And red leaves are falling in a breeze drifting by
He paints the desert sunsets and paints the canyon walls
God the Master Painter, paints it all

He paints the moon’s heavenly light softly shining down
Creating little spots of shade where shadows dance around
His paintings are perfection that the world stores away
Earthly signs and wonders in a vast array

He paints in purple, cloudy skies across the western plains
With thunder rolls and lightning, he paints the summer rain
And somewhere over a distant hill the mighty storm departs
God signs it with his rainbow, an original work of art
