God Is On Your Side
E-vening shadows have faded,
M-ist and haze pass from view;
I-nclement clime turns fine,
L-ight in the sky shines on
Y-ou.
A-fter the storm has gone,
P-ure delight comes from above;
R-ain and cold chill have turned
I-nto warm and tender
L-ove.
T-wilight has disappeared,
A-pril second this year;
N-ew dawn has broken,
G-iving you smile and cheer.
U-se this beautiful moment
I-n celebrating your birthday;
L-onely dusk has drifted
I-nto the deep black and
G-ray.
V-ile weather has turned
I-nto a fair condition;
E-arly rise from slumber,
S-un brings fun to the occasion.
C-rimson lanes up high are clear and so wide;
A-bove the clouds is heaven, knowing God is on your side.
