God Is My Protector
Shame of all the things I have been through and done
But knowing I can do better
I can come out as number one
I may be last to know things
How to survive in this world
When my heartaches and pain
Gets in the way of my life
I can make the things I done better now
If I just get down on me knees and bow down
I know everything will be al right
Every person sometimes have to surrender
There will be day of sorrow, sadness and pain
I myself have figured out that God cures you
And you are able to regain
Love is what I cherish for
To give all that I have to God
He is my guide
He is my protector
I know there will be a day where I wont have suffer
I know he is the light
And there is always going to be a dark side that come along
But God is always with you to help you fight
Just got believe in yourself
I know I've learned a lot as the days and month and years have passed
I know I accept Him in my life
