God Has Forgiven Me

GOD HAS FORGIVEN ME

HOW CAN YOU TURN YOUR BACK AND WALK AWAY
I'M NO LONGER A MEMBER YOU SAY
I MESSED UP, I AGREE
BUT GOD HAS FORGIVEN ME

I HAD TO LEAVE MY CHURCH HOME
FOR A LONG TIME I DID ROAM
BUT NOW WHY CAN'T YOU SEE
GOD HAS FORGIVEN ME

I CAN'T COME BACK THERE ANYMORE
FOR ME THAT IS A CLOSED DOOR
THAT'S OKAY, THAT'S ALRIGHT
WITH YOU I WILL NOT FIGHT

YOU DON'T WANT TO TAKE ME BACK IN
EVEN THOUGH GOD HAS FORGIVEN MY SIN
GOD WILL FIND FOR ME A PLACE
ONE DAY I WILL SEE HIM FACE TO FACE

FROM HEAVEN YOU CAN NOT KEEP ME OUT
I WILL BE THERE THERE'S NO DOUBT
WHEN JESUS DIED ON THAT TREE
HE NOT ONLY DIED FOR YOU, HE ALSO DIED FOR ME
