Dear God, I want to thank you
That you always are my friend
That you're in me, walk beside me
Until the day I reach the end
That you comfort me and hold me
In your arms so full of grace
When I leave this life I'm living
I know I'll look upon your face
Until then, you will provide for me
Console me when I'm feeling down
Provide a roof to cover me
And a way to get to town
Provide me with my sustenance
Friends and family I need
You provided me your only son
I'm a believer, yes indeed
