God, Controls the Wind
God, Controls The Wind

Twas a faint and gentle whisper,
come rustling through the trees.
While Its effects I clearly saw,
not so that springtime breeze.
While pondering It's potential force,
that breeze had became a wind.
I knew not where it had It's start,
or where that it might end.
While it brought coolness to my face,
leaves swirled along the ground.
I wondered how it did those things,
when it made so little sound.
Then of, God's, gentle voice I thought,
as in stillness it comes to me.
While like the wind His touch I feel,
through faith alone I see.
It's now grown clear as there I stood,
that, God, controlled the wind.
He caused the coolness upon my face,
He caused the trees to bend.
Through, God, alone a gentle breeze,
into a mighty wind can grow.
Through, God, alone stand mighty oaks,
from tiny acorns that we sow.
God, is the Alpha and the Omega,
He's the beginning and the end.
Though with carnal eyes I may not see,
He's always been and is my friend.
