God and His Ways

God And His Ways
(Jer 31.3)

God whispers in love to ears near;
screams in anger at hearts far.
His voice roars, rattles the earth; disaster,
a confetti of withered winter foliages
     	echoes the tumultuous cries of pain.

He draws humans with loving kindness,
saves from disaster with loving anger.
From His heart, unending ballad streams,
rustling awake sleepy eyes,
    	bursting open stuffed ears.

The ballad serenades God's grace,
     	His everlasting love.
