God
It took a while
Years indeed
To figure out life
Death and mans human greed
Like all good things
Effort and many blooming springs
Tears from mountain tops
Into valleys green where love brings
God is simply the human voice
That sings of sadness or rejoice
Music from the human mind
There is nothing as humble and so so kind
Now some would ask “but I can not sing”
Gods charm comes that you can hear the echoes ring
A singer needs an ear to hear
So you see, we are all God if we choose not to fear
This is why many man made Gods exist
In the minds of the religious only theirs is true
God knows its about love not any religious view
So remember to rejoice and sing no matter in what pew
Do no harm to your fellow man
Break bread with those who have no lamb
When a guest knocks on your door
Sing a song, the voice of God for sure
Is all that merciful hearts will understand
