Gobsmacked, Bamboozled and Confused

Please explain this to me…
This has me completely
and thoroughly gobsmacked
bamboozled and confused

Where do people get off
Feeling entitled
Thinking they don’t have to
Work to earn what they get

Thinking life should be easy for them
While they have absolutely
No compassion for anyone else

Quite satisfied the world
Revolves around them
And only them
Oh, now I’ve said too much…

We worked hard for every cent...and we were proud of it! Maybe that's why we were always happy. Never mind "hard" work, many don't know what work is at all. O well, I often think we babyboomers grew up in the best of times - but maybe it was just another type of craziness. Either way, I wouldn't change our babyboomer years for any other.

Maybe college is the problem, not the solution... (Just a thought). :) gw Line Gauthier October 22, 2018 at 8:18 AM I think it starts at the teenage years and many choose not to outgrow, there seems to be less and less incentive especially if teenagers (lasting well into their 30's) can live with parents and count on getting bailed out every time they 'need' money because we don't need money, right?!
