Goats In Space
I once read a myth about
a giant goat that ate the moon,
I don’t expect that this possibility
will happen any time too soon.
The technology necessary to get a goat
launched into outer space,
Has never been a priority
among the Capra aegagrus hircian race.
It seems that their scientists have had
lots of better things to do,
Like determining the best things for goats
to stand around and chew.
And once the tasting of everything
on Earth has finally taken a toll,
I’m sure that they will turn their sights
towards setting a lunar goal.
But they’re not the only ones on the farm
thinking about making a lunar trip,
They’re in for some competition so
they’d better start cracking the whip.
Because the barnyard mice have been
earning advanced engineering degrees,
And they are fully convinced that
the moon is made of cheese.
